View Dates & Book

Celebrate America's 250th year in the city where it all began.  As the birthplace of the nation, Philadelphia is transforming 2026 into a once-in-a-generation celebration, a year-long tribute filled with special exhibits, patriotic festivals, neighborhood events, and immersive experiences that bring the nation's story to life.  This is your chance to explore iconic landmarks, discover new 250th-themed programs, and feel the energy of a city at the center of America's biggest anniversary.  Make your free time historic in Philadelphia.

Enjoy a carefree day in the heart of historic Philadelphia during this extraordinary commemorative year.  Your trip begins with a morning drop-off at the National Constitution Center, a gateway to Independence Mall.  From here, you're just steps away from the city’s most iconic attractions - many offering special exhibits and events created specifically for the semiquincentennial.

Perhaps you’ll step inside the Constitution Center to experience its interactive exhibits, or you might head straight out into the historic district to experience the landmarks that shaped the nation.  Visit the Liberty Bell, tour Independence Hall, or stroll through the cobblestone streets of Old City, where new public art and storytelling projects highlight Philadelphia's role in America's founding.

If you're in the mood for a something more contemporary, browse the boutiques along Market Street, enjoy local favorites like soft pretzels or cheesesteaks, or relax in one of the city’s iconic parks.

Art lovers can make their way to the Philadelphia Museum of Art or the Rodin Museum, while food enthusiasts may gravitate toward Reading Terminal Market, buzzing with local vendors and delicious treats. Whether you’re drawn to history, culture, shopping, or simply soaking in the patriotic energy of this milestone year, Philadelphia offers endless ways to make your free time unforgettable.

In the afternoon, you’ll return to the same convenient pickup point at the National Constitution Center, wrapping up a day of discovery that’s entirely your own - and uniquely part of America's 250th celebration.
